This article gives a background to the present discussion in the United Nations about the eventual need to reopen the investigation around the death of the former Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjöld, who died in a plane crash in Northern Rhodesia in 1961. More and more evidence suggests that the crash was caused by an attack, and not by accident.
